Favorite fall dessert

I've made this wonderful fall dessert called Pumpkin Dump Cake a couple of times in the past week. It is delicious and my absolute favorite fall dessert. It's especially good served warm topped with Cool Whip!

Fall cake

My favorite time of the year...FALL! I've been waiting for an opportunity to use these leaf fondant cutters. A lovely friend of mine ordered a cake for a cake auction at her grandson's fall festival. This is a devil's food cake with chocolate buttercream icing and fondant leaf accents. 8 inch round, 2 inch high cake, serves 15.

30th Anniversary Church cake

Our church celebrated its 30th anniversary today so I made a cake of the original part of the church as it was 30 years ago. The cake was layers of chocolate with chocolate buttercream filling and icing covered in chocolate fondant.

GIANT cupcake

Here is a giant cupcake I did as practice for my daughter's upcoming birthday surrounded by coordinating regular size cupcakes. I plan to ice the bottom of the giant cupcake as well in the future.

I don't know why but cupcakes are just so darn cute to me! I LOVE them!

Cecila Days cake

I created this cake as a display for my booth at Cecilia Days to drum up some business. It's a two-tier (6 inch and 8 inch tiers) yellow cake with buttercream filling and icing covered with fondant. This cake serves around 23. And YES, it is real! :) (That was the question of the day...many kids decided to check for themselves and I wound up with fingerholes in my cake! Oh well!)
